Worcestershire Spiced Mixed Nuts

A common appetizer with an uncommon taste. Serve with a caesar salad for a light lunch.

  • 1/4 cup Lea & Perrins® The Original Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 lb. mixed nuts, such as almonds, pecans & walnuts
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries


  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, add Worcestershire Sauce, sugar, pepper and salt. Simmer gently for about 2 minutes, or until sugar is melted. Remove from heat, and add the nuts and oil, stirring until evenly coated.
  3. Spread nuts evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 16 to 18 minutes, or until nuts are a deep brown color. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Combine roasted nuts with cranberries and serve.
