An incredibly versatile vegetable sauce to serve over scrambled eggs, rice, noodles or your favorite chicken dish.

1 tbsp butter
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 tbsp onion, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 cup tomato, chopped
2 tbsp Lea & Perrins® The Original Worcestershire Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, combine butter, pepper, celery, onion and salt with 2 Tbsp. of water or chicken broth. Cook for 5 minutes and stir in tomato. Cook for additional 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender, stirring frequently. Stir in Worcestershire Sauce just before serving.
Serve over rice and beans.
Be sure to shake well before measuring out the Worcestershire Sauce. To make this saucier, add another 2 Tbsp. of water or chicken broth.
