Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour (sifted)
1 cup water
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup butter, diced
2 whole eggs, plus 1 additional yolk
1/2 tsp. Lea & Perrins® The Original Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Place butter and salt in a pan, and then add water and bring to boil.
  3. Add flour to boiling water all at once and combine quickly with a wooden spoon.
  4. Beat vigorously until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan then remove from heat.
  5. Gradually beat the eggs and yolk into the mixture until completely incorporated.
  6. Add cheese, mustard and Lea & Perrins® Original Worcestershire Sauce.
  7. Place teaspoon size portions of the mixture on a nonstick pan and bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° and continue cooking until the Buñuelos are brown.
Tips
  • These can be served hot or cold.If you wish to have a bolder flavor, try increasing the amount of Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire Sauce in 1/2 tsp. increments.
