Prepare marinade ahead of time to make your dinner preparations quick and easy. Save the leftovers for French Dip sandwiches, just add Heinz Au Jus Gravy for dipping sauce.

Ingredients
1/3 cup Lea & Perrins® The Original Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 cup dry red wine or cranberry juice
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 lb. London Broil
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together Worcestershire Sauce, wine, onion and oil. Pierce meat with fork on all sides and place in bowl, turning until well-coated. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for one hour, or overnight if desired, turning occasionally.
  2. Remove beef from refrigerator, reserving marinade. Grill or broil beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until cooked to desired doneness, basting frequently for first 10 minutes. Discard any remaining marinade. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  3. To slice steak, hold knife at an angle and cut against the grain into 1/4” slices.
Tips
  • If preferred, use a resealable plastic bag for marinating. Discard bag after use. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute red wine with cranberry juice.
